After sitting through just half of the 2018 Good Friday match between North Melbourne and St Kilda, Jesus of Nazareth has reportedly second guessed his decision to die for our sins.
In an interview with The First Reserve, Jesus stated that he was disappointed such a horrendous display of football was shown on the anniversary of his death.
“I’m starting to wonder whether or not this was all worth it, you know?” said Jesus.
“I was pretty excited to sit down and watch the footy, but after North’s seventh consecutive missed set-shot and witnessing nearly 60 turnovers in a half of footy, I’d had enough.”
There’s every chance the game will turn on it’s head and become a decent game of footy in the second half, but the game will have one less viewer as Jesus has officially flicked the TV over to Channel 10 for The Passion Of The Christ.
