Kane Cornes has triumphantly won the coveted “World’s Largest Head” award at today’s World Head Championships held in Adelaide.
Cornes’ victory came on the back of a whopping 101.26cm head circumference measurement, a number great enough to see Cornes become a Guinness World Record holder.
Fellow Aussies Nathan Buckley and Dean Brogan also finished high in the placings, finishing 4th and 6th respectively.
The World Head Championships event was watched by millions online with many viewers tuning in for a brief moment before realising it was a head measuring event and not the alternative.
This isn’t the first victory for members of the AFL media, as Basil Zempilas took out the world’s biggest nose title earlier this year after trumping AFL great Matthew Pavlich by just a few millimetres.
