The Black Eyed Peas And Jimmy Barnes Release Collab Track ‘Working Class Thot’ Ahead Of AFL Grand Final

A last minute announcement from the former Cold Chisel frontman has left fans scratching their heads with confusion today as Jimmy Barnes posted a series of photos to his Instagram, with the simple caption: “New track. Link in bio”.

Given that both acts were announced as the entertainment for this years Grand Final, it shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise, claimed AFL Chief Executive, Gillon McLachlan. “I mean, Fergie’s out of the picture now and the next most powerful lead vocalist on offer would have to be Barnsey!”.

The First Reserve managed to sit down with both Jimmy and Will.i.am for an exclusive interview.

The First Reserve: Thanks for your time guys. First off, love the track. Who would have thought each of you guys blended so well together?!

Will.i.am: Thanks man. Look, we’ve really been working hard in the studio with the new lineup change and I finally feel like we’re set to head straight back to the top of the charts with this banger.

TFR: I’m sure everyone agrees. Will Barnsey be able to fill Fergie’s shoes though?

W: He’s thicc, white, and ageing quite noticeably, so yeah. Definitely. He ticks the right boxes.

Barnsey: I’m probably a better root though [laughs] [punches dart].

W: [Laughs].

B: [Laughs] [coughs] [sniffs].

TFR: Uh, yeah so anywa-

W: [interrupts] In fact, ‘Barn. Z’ – that’s what we’re calling him – is pure fire right now. Better than Fergie ever was. Facts.

B: Yeah well [inaudible mumbling…] fucken’ aye?
